Hypnobirthing, It's natural, safe and more comfortable birthing.

Have you ever heard Hypnobirthing? I've read a book suggested from a friend, the title "Hypnobirthing, The Mongan Method" and was excited to share to every mom-to-be.

Their philosophy is based on the ancient practice of birthing as a celebration of life. That means birthing (they call it that way, not "delivery") no need to be  painful, scary or whatever our mother or other women experience it. It's a natural approach to an easier birthing without any medication or unnecessary intervention. I know it's sounds too grandious. But when I realized that pregnant women are not sick person and birthing is a natural event that every mammal experience it, it became more realistic.

I am a first time mom-to-be and honestly I don't even know how it feels, but I really inspired with it and encourage other mom-to-be to read this fabulous book. Have a happy pregnancy and birthing mummies!

Forgotten Artist

Anton Pieck, once I heard this name I just remember paper tole or decoupage. But I had never known that he is a Dutch illustrator and had his own fairy tale park!

From a list of best-known Dutch painter, whose paintings are hanged in the museums all around the world; Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt van Rijn or Johannes Vermeer; or illustrator like Marjolein Bastin and Dick Bruna are also well known worldwide. But I think just a few people know Anton Pieck as a talented illustrator whose works are very popular in public.

Though his works are often seen by art critics as an example of a kitsch (form of art that is considered an inferior, tasteless or worthless imitation of art) but I do like his illustration. I always like fairy tale and my childhood imagination become real through his works. These are some of his works and you can judge it by yourself. :)

Serenity

Serenity... Peace of mind, tranquility and calmness. They have the same meaning. But beyond all the words, you can feel it through the music.
Mine Kawakami is a Japanese pianist, composer and arranger. Born in Nagakute-cho, Aichi Prefecture in 1969, she travels around the world, than returned to Japan and has since then based herself in Kyoto.. If you ever watching NHK world you can listen to her music there. Her music is very expressive, you can feel the nature through it.

4th Paper Tole Project

Why 4th? Where is the 1st?
Actually this is my 1st project which is published, I haven't published the others.

What is Paper Tole? Paper tole, also known as three-dimensional decoupage, is the art of handcrafting three-dimensional pictures from flat prints.

Paper tole art is created by skillfully cutting, shaping, and assembling pieces of paper layered onto an image until a three-dimensional version of the image emerges. Though there are a number of ways to use paper tole, one of the most popular is to frame the image in a deep wall frame and display it as wall art.

I started  to fall in love with this kind of art since a friend of mine took me to buy prints for paper tole. I always love crafts, but this is the most! Although I suffered from back pain because of doing this, but it feels great when it's done!

This project's title is "Happy Kiss". Is that cute? It was very easy and fun!
